PVC ID Card Printing for Schools and Offices: Specifications and Ordering Guide

By Rajesh Company  ·  October 2026

Employee ID cards, student cards and access cards are practical identity tools for schools, offices, factories and institutions. This guide explains what PVC ID cards are, which specifications to know, and how to order them for your organisation in Delhi NCR.

What are PVC ID cards?

PVC ID cards are photo identification and access cards. Corporates, factories, schools, colleges, institutions, events and other organisations use them. They can carry a photo, name and ID number, along with barcodes or QR codes. See our PVC ID and access cards page.

What is CR80 format?

CR80 is the card format we produce: 85.6 × 54 mm, in 0.76 mm PVC. It is the same format as a credit or debit card.

What printing and finish options are available?

  • Digital full-colour printing, single or double sided.
  • Gloss or matte finish.
  • An optional lanyard slot, useful if the cards will be worn on a lanyard.

What can be personalised on each card?

Photo, name and number can be printed as variable data, so each card in a batch carries different information. Barcodes or QR codes and sequential numbering can also be printed, depending on the project. Send us the data format and requirement so we can confirm the process. See variable data and numbering.

Who orders PVC ID cards?

Corporates, factories, schools, colleges, institutions, events and other organisations. If you also need visitor passes or event badges, see event passes and badges; handling both through one supplier helps keep format and branding consistent.

What is the minimum order for PVC ID cards?

Minimum quantities depend on the product, specification and quantity. We welcome enquiries from small organisations too. Send the quantity and specification and we will tell you whether the job is commercially workable.

Can I see a sample with my branding?

Yes. For PVC ID cards, a sample can be produced using your branding where appropriate. Any charge and expected timeline are confirmed before the sample is produced.
